WHERE WE ARE
Bonassola overlooks a small gulf, enclosed by verdant hills, where vineyards and slender olive trees are here and there protected by solid fig trees. A village with a strong maritime vocation, gathered by two rocky spurs that preserve it from the pitfalls of the winds and the waves of the sea, it was born as a place of refuge from Saracen raids. The remains of the castle built by order of Castruccio Castracani degli Antelminelli are still visible. The center is now a busy seaside resort, but at the same time it is a special ,almost exclusive vacation spot with elegant villas halfway up the coast.
